Simeon – a musical by Roger Jones

We are planning to present this musical at Candlemas as the culmination of the Christmas season. It will take place in Alderbury Village Hall on Sunday 2nd February 2020 at 4.00pm.

At this stage we are inviting all singers who would like to take part to register their interest (we are looking for choir members as well as soloists). If you would like to take part please contact Andy Larkham (andrew@larkham.me.uk) or Beth Hutton (beth.hutton@clarendonteam.org) by 22nd September, so that we can order the music copies (£5.99 each).

Change of Sunday service times: the time after a service is a precious time when we as clergy and those leading the service can chat to visitors, pick up important pastoral issues and share good news. Currently the 9:30am service, which often finishes at 10:30am, leaves little or no time to get to get to another church for their 11:00am service. You will therefore see us rushing off rather than being with you. To address this, the Team Council have agreed that from the beginning of October the 9:30am service will begin a quarter of a hour earlier at 9:15am. We hope that the 15mins difference will not cause you any issues and look forward to more time with you.
